Project Brief
Through collaboration with the client and Jackson Clements Burrows, Buro North created a special and unique story for the address on Elizabeth street. We developed a specific brand and graphic language that engaged with an older target audience. The language adopted aligned with the built form and architecture - each informing the other.
Project Innovation / Need
The design concentrates on strong use of pattern, typography and imagery to emphasis the offer unique to Reserve and to stamp a solid place for the development in a flooded marketplace. The brochure would be used as a sales tool and it was most important needed to reflect the values of the building and its location.
Design Challenge
To instil the feeling of luxury, a high end print specification was developed. Communicating the richness and quality of the product in a brochure demanded an alluring and illustrious finish. We sought to achieve this through the use of several stocks, deep blind emboss cover, cotton-feel cover stock, colour tones and through the profile of the graphic language and renderings. Rather than hide the floorplans we chose to celebrate them through the use of a lightweight, coloured stock, printed with an additional Pantone colour. A custom made envelope was also designed specifically to house the material.
Sustainability
Considerations included the use of locally sourced, FSC stocks and utilising local craftsman to produce the deep blind embossed front cover.
