Project Brief

The collection for this season continues its tradition of excellence in quality, fit and construction, favoring a range of natural luxurious fibers including cotton, silk and linen blends.

The label offers pieces that allow the OC man to imprint his style and signature in any type of setting always looking his best.

Project Innovation / Need

I give a nod to the 80's New Wave California beach culture and New York's emerging Hip Hop scene, cleverly mixing materials like mesh and snakeskin with touches of neon colours with a unique spin, tempering the looks with black, white, and gunmetal. The use of unique accents like rope, eyelets and zipper trims completes the look and gives the collection a unique sense of modernity.

Highlights of the collections include tailored pieces with detailed pockets and large covered buttons, suiting, fitted shirts with small collars, hoodies, coats, updated board shorts and much more...

Design Challenge

The unpredictable nature of the fashion industry plays a huge part in my decision making and a lot of the times I’m challenge with compromising my style of design with what is commercially viable.

It seems like designers and artists everywhere struggle with similar challenges. Despite many obstacles along the road I am committed to working towards a viable and successful business.

Sustainability

The Collection is made from locally sourced fabrics to help improve our economy and encourages the growth and sustainability of the fashion industry. My designs are created with organic cotton features. I work with Cotton Modal which is a textile made from beechwood, a natural raw material. It’s a luxurious fibre that feels soft, silky and light.
